Before Jan van Rooyen entered fulltime ministry he was an Aviator in the South African Airforce.

This photograph depicts two of the aircraft flown by Jan during his career in the Air Force - the Italian built Impala Mark-1 and Mark-2 (Aermacchi MB326M and MB326KC).

Jan applies many of the practical principles and disciplines he learnt as an Aviator in his day to day functioning as a minister of the Gospel and in equipping Believers for active duty.
